Tecnología a la medida

“Si la tecnología no reduce los costos y mejora los procesos, es que no está bien implantada”. Esta frase resume una de las conclusiones del Congreso Pymes Online sobre la instalación de Internet.
Uno de los puntos más relevantes del Congreso “Pymes Online: del correo electrónico a la gestión comercial” -organizado por la Baquía.com y la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Madrid-, fue el relacionado con la adaptación tecnológica de las pequeñas y medianas empresas al nuevo contexto generado por Internet y el comercio electrónico.
La conclusión a la que se llegó sobre este tema, se podía intuir casi desde el inicio: no existen recetas universales para entrar en Internet o realizar una implantación tecnológica; cada empresa tiene sus propias condiciones, problemas y necesidades, por lo que no se puede proveer una solución estándar para todos los casos.

“If the use of technology doesn’t reduce the costs and improve the procedures, it means it is not well implemented”. This sentence summarizes one of the conclusions of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Online Congress in relation to the use of the Internet.
One of the most relevant topics in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Online Congress “From electronic mail to commercial management”, organized by Baquía.com and the Madrid’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was related to the technological adaptation of small and medium-sized enterprises to the new context that has been generated by the use of the Internet and the electronic trade.
A conclusion came out that was almost predictable from the very beginning: there are no universal recipes to cross the threshold to the Internet or to carry out a technological implementation. Each enterprise has its own conditions, problems and needs; therefore, it is impossible to provide a standard solution for all cases.
